How would you apply the principle 'do unto others as you would have them do unto you' to today's Internet culture?

I'd show that there are consequences to actions that have been done, like say; you help someone with a project they are working on, online and they pass it with flying colors, and then they help you with something equally important, that's a consequence, or if you severely bully someone and then when you're at your lowest they start laughing at you is an example of a consequence.

Uhm it would not be applied because over the internet people could care less of others opinion
