I am a religious person because religion is important to me however I would not force its teachings onto people.

It’s hard to say. I believe Christianity can be both good as believing in something and praying and putting it in a higher powers hand so things get better is good and should not be frowned upon. But using it to spread your hate for those you deem less than is horrid.
