I have good reasons to think that they should not be held for the actions inflicted by people who purchase firearms inappropriately if that means the firearm company could have done everything in their power to check the person purchasing but then again using false identities are extremely common so there would be no possible way of telling technologically. That also gives false claims to explain the reason for purchase it could be used for practically anything someone bought it and gave it to the person who did the crime so in a way it is not the company's job on how this firearm is being used.
