I might vote for him. I think he has a lot of progressive ideas I can get behind and he is an empathetic person. But the question was who I would vote for if the election was now. I would vote for Gavin Newsom today. He may not be perfect but he is firm in his decisions, would not get behind flat out bad policies, but most importantly, he is not scared to fight back in kind.
