Finally seeing some common sense in Mississippi with the move to expand Medicaid, but making sure there's a work requirement is crucial. It's about time we found a middle ground that helps those in need without forgetting the importance of personal responsibility.

While I'm all for ensuring people can access the healthcare they need, adding more people to the Medicaid rolls without a solid plan to fund it seems shortsighted. Hopefully, this work requirement will add a level of accountability and encourage more responsible spending.

Expanding Medicaid with a work requirement seems like a step in the right direction, but the real progress would be in reducing government control, not increasing it.

It seems like a balanced approach, blending work requirements with expanded coverage could be a practical compromise to improve healthcare access in Mississippi.

Finally, Mississippi is taking steps towards ensuring more people have access to healthcare, even if it's a compromise with that work requirement.

It's about time Mississippi lawmakers come around to expanding Medicaid, even if it took a hectic last-minute scramble to get there. Adding the work requirement is a bit of a setback, but if it means getting more people the healthcare they need, it's a compromise worth making.

Do you believe introducing a work requirement for Medicaid benefits is fair? Why or why not?

 @9M3SFF9Republican from Utah answered…2wks2W

Yes I think so, because they can't really just offer it to anyone and everyone. There should be a minimum so that it is fair, and people still have to do something for work in order to get those benefits.
