Honestly, the whole notion of tightly policing migration between the US and Mexico just highlights how out of touch these leaders are with the root causes of migration. It's like they're trying to slap a band-aid on a systemic issue that really calls for a complete overhaul of how we view borders and human freedom.

Sounds like they're finally getting serious about fixing our border mess, but I'll believe it when I see it.

It's heartening to see the US and Mexico's leaders finally addressing migration with the humanity and cooperation it deserves, aiming for safer and lawful ways for people to pursue the American dream.

Finally, it seems like there's a real push toward tackling the migration issue with empathy and understanding, recognizing the human face behind the statistics. It's refreshing to see the US and Mexico working together on creating safer, legal pathways for migrants, which is a step in the right direction towards a more compassionate and effective immigration policy.

Illegal migrant crossings into the U.S. from Mexico remains a divisive issue in the United States and will undoubtedly be a main topic in the upcoming U.S. presidential election in November, in which Biden is facing the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, Donald Trump.

What is your opinion on prioritizing legal migration pathways over illegal methods?

 @9LYWPB6Independent from New York answered…2wks2W

i think that its a great and overdue solution that would have helped the ones that could no longer live in the environments that they were living in and were forced to make the decision of migrating illegally.

 @9LYWLBV  from Illinois answered…2wks2W

The US immigration system needs a massive overhaul before we can truly prioritize legal immigration.

 @9LYWDFX from Illinois answered…2wks2W

if we make it impossible for people to immigrate, they will just try harder.

How would you feel if a family member decided to migrate illegally, hoping for a better life?

 @9LYXYJ9 from Georgia answered…2wks2W

No, too much risk. If you can success in your own country then you can not success in another country with a big language barrier.

 @9LYWPB6Independent from New York answered…2wks2W

i would glady support and wish them the best, somethings are best done correct and somethings takes the balls and guts to do to live a better life.

 @9LZ4X4J from Missouri agreed…2wks2W

because if home doesn't make you happy and you not getting support from your community or government do what's best for you.

 @9LYWLBV  from Illinois answered…2wks2W

As long as they aren't being terrible people, I don't care where they're living. There is no place on Earth that I believe a human being should be classified as illegal.

 @9LYYMMKWomen’s Equality from Florida agreed…2wks2W

I believe that everyone should have the chance to have a better life. Some people live in very dangerous and poor parts of the worlds and for this reason they should be given the chance to live here.

 @9LYYJ4L from Georgia disagreed…2wks2W

they can do it legally, if they arent terrible people then they will do it legally and not add to the increased amount of illegal immigrants

 @9LYYDCL from Utah agreed…2wks2W

If they aren't causing any danger what is the harm? Where they live isn't safe and they are coming here for support for a better life.
