I believe a companies main goal should be to make a good product for their customers. It is important for companies to align with their values, however, they do not need to have an opinion on every social issue. Actions speak louder than words, and consumers value authenticity and consistency.

A public opinion is used to gauge how the public stands on certain issues, not to govern how a company or a person chooses to run their businesses. This falls under the core value of individualism, but could be tied to Free Enterprise, which all Americans share a belief in, just their opinions on how policy should be carried out differ.

Ethics is a big part of the world and we should focus on how our products are being made and if the upsides really do outweigh the bad

I do not trust the motives of corporations when it comes to promoting progressive values. I cannot say that I don’t appreciate forms of representation for minorities, but I do not believe that it comes from a place of genuine concern. Regardless, corporations should be more honest about their political affiliations.

Companies should stick to producing quality products and treating their employees well. They should stay out of politics.
