Loving one's neighbor as yourself should be characterized more as caring enough to hold them accountable as responsible people, rather than simply not treating them unfavorably. Sometimes people don't want to have responsibility, but it is in their best interest and/or more meaningful.

The Christian Left is generous in there morality but dangerous in overall convictions.

I think Christians don't follow these values. As an atheist it doesn't concern me.
