How does the idea of a 'no-fly list' affect your perception of individual freedoms versus collective safety?

I feel the government had no right to ask him what he was doing at a place of worship, if they had no valid reason. Putting him on the no fly list just because of him not speaking about what he was doing is valid since we have access to the fifth ademenment which allows someone to not speak if they feel they will incrimate themselves.

People can’t be safe or enjoy their flight if they don’t know the rules.
