It depends on what the issue was and if there was intent, deliberately overlocking/ covering up or something else that would lead to trust issues.

If they explained why it was recalled and made sure that it wouldn’t be a issue again and actually admitted to there customers that there was something wrong they messed up then yes if not no I don’t trust them cause they weren’t forth coming.
