I feel like governments around the world would start to restrict access to many forms of technology as a way to start taxing citizens because if the world isn’t in debt, going through hunger, or famine then they wont be able to capitalize on their greed

The government likes to always have something that they are in control of and if they don't have hunger to weigh over people then they will weigh access to technology over them.
