How have you seen faith motivate individuals or groups to initiate change in social or environmental causes?

I've seen it create a rise in tension and anger. I've also seen it destroy relationships because faith is more of an opinion than a fact.

Faith in god is the thing that keeps this country alive and when we move away from god we have problems

For example, abortion, faith got completely in the arguement, this is when people argued against eachother because one thinks that pro-choice but the other thinks pro-life no matter what.

Many churches stand up for what they believe is right, even tho we are supposed to separate church and state.
