How might the transition from personal accolades to group recognition for achievements affect your drive in pursuits like academics or sports?

I think that group awards are a good thing and have their place, but I don’t think that they hold be used to replace individual awards.

I belive if a team wins the Super Bowl or the World Cup they should be celebrated and their team impacts are the reason they one not just one player.

It devalues the individual which decreases one's drive to achieve success and accolades.

It would decrease my drive as I feel my contributions are left unseen.

I believe collective progress is the best method to progress both the self and the whole, and the recognition from groups can bring feedback, opinions, and incentive not usually present in personal pursuits.
