First of all, I think it's hilarious that your first objection to protecting the unborn from murder was that it somehow harmed "life." If you have a darn about life, you'd be in the Pro-Life boat. Or did you mean risk to the mother in her pregnancy? If so, I'd like to tell you that in only 8% of pregnancies is there any notable risks for the mother, so 92% of the time, you are demonstrably wrong. Or, in essence, your position did far worse than flunk the reality/sanity test, while my position would get an "A". But that's assuming it's justifiable… Read more to kill a baby when it poses a risk to you. Let me just ask you – would it be justifiable to kill someone, therefore giving another human being a 100% certainty of death, to protect yourself from a chance of death that was lower than 100%? Just asking. Now turn that person into your own child, who has never sinned in his life and his 100% innocent, and it looks even worse for you.
Now let's talk about "choice". You've claimed that restricting abortion infringes upon the mother's "right to choose." Right to choose to kill her own child? Do you really think that's a "right" that deserves respect? Of course not, because that single imaginary "right" if carried out would result in the destruction of the life of your own child, thereby depriving him of every last right he has. So you, apparently, think it's a woman's "choice" whether or not to murder her own baby. And that's a scary thought.
I'd also like to know why you're "Pro-Choice" on this issue, but "Anti-Choice" on so many others. You don't support the right of people to "choose" whether or not they want to pay income taxes to the government, to opt-out of funding welfare programs. You don't support the right of parents to "choose" to deny their mentally unstable child "Gender affirming care." You don't support the right of business owners to "choose" how to run their businesses. You don't support any of that. But you'll make an exception for the industrialised butchery of 6 million unborn children per year. Everything else MUST be regulated by the government, down to the minutest economic decision. But MURDER? God forbid the government intrude on people's right to MURDER THEIR OWN CHILDREN.
And lastly, what "freedom" do you think entitles the mother to kill her own child? Hate to break it to you, but murder isn't FREEDOM, but slavery.
Now I hope you'll consider these points before you open your mouth again on this website on the abortion issue, and consider the fundamental moral dilemmas your position creates.
