I think education, access to healthcare, and fair economic policies are key. Also, fostering empathy and understanding can help us respect and value our differences.

A higher personal income, because I think you have to work at least a little to get the most societal benefits

Higher income. Society should be based on a meritocracy. Someone who does not work as hard should not expect to have the same income. The only exceptions should be for those who are elderly or disabled.
