How do you believe acknowledging and learning from past racial injustices can influence today's society?

History has a habit to repeat itself, so if past mistakes are not acknowledged and made sure to not happen again then chances are it will happen again.

Learning from the past can help portray better the downsides racism has brought upon society. Looking back we can now realize why there are laws against racism. Because of learning past racial injustices there is more equality in society now.

I believe that racism is a dying belief and that overall racism isnt a problem in the US. However, there will always be racist individuals but it isnt a widespread issue.
