I feel like students will put less effort into work and assignments but some students will find this as an improvement

Mastery style grading has been proven to improve retention of information and increase testing scores. This style of teaching should be implemented en masse. This would also reduce the need for homework, helping lessen the tremendous load on students. And, mastery style grading makes students repeat information until they understand it.

It would depend the system in place, but if it encourages on learning and the quality of it then I see that as a better alternative then what we have now

Grades destroy mental health, a lack of that intensive scrutiny or regulation would make students more open to learning if there is a lack of judgment behind it.

It would help me and I would learn more and remember it for a longer time rather than focusing on passing tests.
