I feel interested in their background and want to know more about where they came from/who they are. I feel this way because I care about humans and think they have equally important and interesting lives.

I feel like we are all one species living on a huge rock in the middle of infinite space. Why should anyone care how someone speaks? I can only speak one language myself. Majority of foreign speakers living in the United States speak multiple languages. They are doing much better than I am.
