Hamas' leader and a top Iranian official held talks last night amid growing fears the Israel-Gaza war could mushroom into a wider Middle East conflict.
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian spoke on the phone with terror chief Ismail Haniyeh and Palestinian Islamic Jihad boss Ziyad al-Nakhala to discuss stopping what he described as Israel's 'brutal crimes' in Gaza.
Israeli air strikes have been pounding the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip since the terrorist group invaded Israel and murdered at least 1,400 people while taking some 200 hostage two weeks ago.

The leaders of Hamas are literally billionaires. They aren't ragtag community organizers, they are a well-funded and highly organized terrorist organization intent on extermination. I wish we lived in a world with more billionaires fighting terrorism than supporting it.

I don’t believe net worth is the most important issue at the moment. Right now, it is hell on earth for the people in Gaza. Kids are being bombed right now.

The leaders of Hamas don't even live in Gaza, their position as luxury terrorists is critical to any discussion of peace. These are extraordinarily wealthy jihadists who are happy to murder children on both sides. Weapons sites next to kindergartens are a feature, not a bug.

I get the feeling that if these guys were, by some magic, hiding weapons sites in Tel Aviv kindergartens, the IDF wouldn’t be bombing Tel Aviv kindergartens and the western world wouldn’t be sponsoring it

If the weapon sites were in Tel Aviv the IDF would send in special forces to clear them. Gaza is a hornets nest of booby traps and terror. You can't send in SF to clear every little cache. False dichotomy
So why not take them out instead of bombing Gaza?
