Take a Bottom to top approach, rather then the commonly used top to bottom approach/trickle down method that is happening today. Find the actual root of the major polluters, and reduce them, rather then funnel money into special interest big corporations.
It's true that top-down approaches often miss the root of the problem. Taking a bottom-up approach is a more effective way to address the issue of climate change. For example, reducing the energy consumption of large corporations by encouraging them to adopt cleaner technologies would be a more effective way to reduce carbon emissions than simply imposing higher taxes on them.
