Do you believe that a community can collectively tackle social issues more effectively than a government; can you give an example?

 @9JGX9KV from New York answered…4mos4MO

I do not believe that a community can tackle social issues more effectively than a government. I do think communities can start great things that can transfer across an area. But I believe that a government can control our response to social issues more than a community can.

 @9JHBYD8 from Indiana agreed…4mos4MO

comunities involve all ages, races, sexualities, and genders so they can better come to a conclusion on issues than a group of old men.

 @9JGWY68 from South Dakota answered…4mos4MO

The only reason Social issues are created, are through the social party and there own issues.

 @9JKLN5Qfrom Arizona agreed…4mos4MO

People in communities generally know a lot more about how things are informally organized and can best lead to effective dialogue with people within that very community because of trust than can outside forces with no prior knowledge of people's personalities and pre existing conditions.

 @9JBJ2J7 from New Mexico commented…4mos4MO

yes beacuse the goverment takes forver to get most things done but as a community knows where the problems are at and can resolve them

 @9JGWR4Z from Texas answered…4mos4MO

I think we could, for example, volunteering in a community for the homeless tackles a social issue.

Can you describe how personal achievement might look in a society that doesn't measure success by wealth?

 @9L6ZNRBanswered…2mos2MO

It wouldn't be looked at as a personal achievement but more looked as a societal achievement.

 @9L6YV77 from North Carolina answered…2mos2MO

In a society guided by Libertarian Communism, personal achievement is measured by contributions to the community, environmental stewardship, and the pursuit of knowledge and creativity. Success is found in fostering sustainable practices, promoting equality, and ensuring everyone's basic needs are met. Individuals are celebrated for their efforts in advancing social justice, environmental preservation, and collective well-being, rather than accumulating wealth or power. In essence, personal achievement is defined by one's positive impact on society and the planet, aligning closely with the values of the Green Party.

If you didn't have to worry about earning a living, do you think your stress levels would change, and how?

 @9JGWS5G from Connecticut answered…4mos4MO

i think it would change stress levels because a lot of people stess abour earning a living

 @9JNVZ9RWomen’s Equality from Virginia agreed…3mos3MO

In today's economy jobs don't pay enough money for the stress levels to be so high to the point of suicide. Part of the reason people are stressed is because they can't afford their livelihood.

 @9JMWHLN from Pennsylvania disagreed…4mos4MO

Someone has to make a living for me. I am the best person to do so. I would worry if anyone else were responsible.

 @9JGWPTB from Texas answered…4mos4MO

yes we wouldn't be worried about providing all the time

 @9JH6CW2Democrat from California agreed…4mos4MO

I agree because so many people worry about not being able to make a sufficient salary to stay financially afloat. If it was a little easier to do that, people would worry less.

 @9JH4KNJ from Virginia agreed…4mos4MO

you dont have to work for your whole life to be right and to have a roof over your head you could work to have more vacations instead of for your house or car

How would you describe your perfect day in a community where people share all resources and there's no competition for wealth?

 @9HY78SK from Mississippi answered…4mos4MO

people all coming together with the stuff they have and just spending time together like normal people.

 @9HY7DBX from Idaho answered…4mos4MO

Everyone would become lazy and we would not be a world power anymore.

 @9HYFGBX from Virginia disagreed…4mos4MO

Lots of people that didn't have opportunities before will be given access to resources. Even the people that were wealthy will be given a new perspective, creating more ideas that benefit everyone instead of people that can afford it.

 @9HYTFCZ from Colorado agreed…4mos4MO

With no incentive of wealth and people being given the same amount of money, people will become lazy and the quality of goods and services will drastically decrease

 @9HY8HRCIndependent from Texas answered…4mos4MO

commitment to policies aimed at curbing inequality, eliminating oppression of underprivileged groups, and eradicating poverty, as well as support for universally accessible public services like child care, education, elderly care, health care, and workers' compensation.

How would you feel living in a society where all property is shared, and there are no personal possessions?

 @9HG3NDZLibertarian  from New York commented…6mos6MO

 @9H9J2DWDemocrat from Illinois answered…6mos6MO

It takes away the security of having one’s own belongings and not having to worry about it being taken away unfairly without prior warning.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…5mos5MO

How would you act differently knowing that no one could be richer or poorer than you?

 @9HY6LG8 from Kentucky answered…4mos4MO

I wouldn't want to have the same amount of money as people because they wouldnt be a goal in life for them.

 @9HYCWPR from Mississippi agreed…4mos4MO

I would hate it, but I probably still treat people the way I do today. If they are mean to me I'll be mean to them.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…6mos6MO

Would you be willing to give up your personal belongings if it meant everyone could have an equal standard of living?

 @9H9GL2Lfrom Washington answered…6mos6MO

I would be willing to give up my belongings, but I would not find motivation to do so from an idea that doing such would help further the community. I view personal belongings as the divvying up of our dominion over the earth. It simplifies what each person must account for. Even though I would want to give up my belongings to help people, one must understand that not everyone deals with items and equipment as competently as others. I find it in all our interests to be both generous and instructive, while doing one's part to try to steward the earth we reside on.

 @9H9DM54 from New Hampshire commented…6mos6MO

An equal standard of living is not what you have as personal belongings, it is about rights not objects.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…6mos6MO

What would you pursue if your basic needs were already guaranteed in your society?

 @9HG6TZ8 from Missouri answered…6mos6MO

I do believe we should abolish capitalism because it is very harmful to everyone except the rich, but I don't agree fully with comunism.

 @9HG72P6 from South Carolina answered…6mos6MO

Capitalism is important. It's how the country works. We pay money for stuff we like and then get paid money for working.

Is it possible for a community to govern itself entirely through voluntary cooperation, or do we always need leaders and laws?

 @9H9J2DWDemocrat from Illinois answered…6mos6MO

I feel like leaders and laws are always necessary in a society though they do not need to be overpowering or overbearing. Without leaders and laws there are no guidelines and there is no way to prevent conflict among citizens or to ensure the safety of the population.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…6mos6MO
