The 2nd amendment of the constitutions guarantees ¨A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed¨. The style of weapons, caliber, and action is not identified in this amendment. However, at the time of the this amendment, the weapons of the day were standard for both Military as well as private civilian use and if those weapons were equal in lethality in those times, then they should be equal today...
