There's a limit on how high you should raise taxes on everyone (including the rich), and that rising the taxes on them doesn't means an increase in tax revenue; in fact, it will lower the revenue instead because people are either sending their money to tax heavens or cease working entirely and live off whatever cash they have after the increases. Instead, we should abolish the current tax structure and the IRS in favor of any combination of the following: (1) national consumption tax of 6% on everything except food and medical supplies, (2) a 18% flax tax on their income, and/or (3) a Land Value Tax - which is a tax on the land, disregarding the improvements (like real estates) unlike property taxes.
